Services

Full accounting and tax service for individuals, families, and businesses, in English and Spanish.

Every service below is overseen in-house by Deborah Gonzalez, EA, and her team. Whether it is a single personal return or the books and payroll of a growing company, the work stays with the people you speak with.

What we do

What each service covers.

  1. Accounting and bookkeeping

Your books are the record everything else depends on: your tax return, your loan application, your understanding of whether the business is actually making money. When they are kept properly from the start, tax season is straightforward. When they are not, it becomes an expensive reconstruction.

We keep your accounts current and accurate month by month, reconcile them against your statements, and give you financial statements you can actually read.

    Includes
    • Monthly bookkeeping
    • Bank and credit card reconciliation
    • General ledger maintenance
    • Profit and loss statements
    • Balance sheets
    • Year-end preparation
  2. Sales taxes

Sales tax is where small businesses most often get into trouble, and where the penalties arrive fastest. Filing frequencies vary by jurisdiction, and a missed deadline compounds quietly until a notice shows up.

We prepare and file your sales tax returns, track every deadline that applies to you, and keep the filings consistent so nothing falls out of sequence.

    Includes
    • Sales tax preparation and filing
    • Deadline tracking
    • Filing frequency management
    • Multi-jurisdiction filing
    • Notice response
  3. Automated payroll

For businesses that would rather not run payroll themselves. Pay runs happen on schedule, withholdings are calculated and remitted, and your employees are paid on time without you handling any of it.

    Includes
    • Scheduled pay runs
    • Direct deposit
    • Withholding calculation and remittance
    • Pay stubs and payroll records
    • New hire setup
    • Year-end forms
  4. Personal and corporate income tax

Returns prepared for individuals, families, sole proprietors, partnerships, and corporations. We look at the full picture rather than only the forms in front of us, and we prepare the return with an eye to how it will read if anyone examines it later.

As an IRS Enrolled Agent, Deborah is federally authorized to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service. So if a notice or an examination follows, you are not facing it alone.

    Includes
    • Individual returns
    • Business returns
    • Multi-state filing
    • Prior-year and amended returns
    • IRS notice response
    • IRS representation
  5. Opening new corporations and LLCs

Forming a company is easy to do quickly and hard to do correctly. The entity type, the tax election, the ownership structure, the registrations you need before you can legally operate: these decisions are cheap to make right at the start and costly to unwind later.

We form the entity properly, file what needs filing, and set the company up so its first tax year does not begin with problems. We do this for clients within the continental United States, and for clients living abroad who need a U.S. company.

    Includes
    • Entity selection
    • Formation filings
    • EIN application
    • S-corporation election where appropriate
    • Initial registrations
    • Guidance for non-U.S. residents
  6. Notary public services

Notary services in-office, by appointment. Deborah is a commissioned Notary Public and a member of the American Society of Notaries.

    Includes
    • Acknowledgments
    • Jurats
    • Sworn statements
    • Document witnessing

Before you call

Frequently asked questions.

Do you work with both individuals and businesses?

Yes. Personal returns, family filings, and full accounting for businesses of every size.

How do I become a client?

We take new clients primarily by referral. If someone you know works with us, mention their name when you reach out. If not, get in touch and tell us what you need. We will let you know whether we are the right fit.

What should I bring for tax preparation?

It depends on your situation, but there is a full checklist on our Resources page covering the documents most people need. If something is missing, we will tell you before we start.

Can you help me form a new corporation or LLC?

Yes, including choosing the right entity type and tax treatment before anything gets filed. This is worth a conversation before you commit to a structure.

Do you work with clients outside the United States?

Yes. We work with clients abroad who are forming U.S. companies or who have U.S. filing obligations.

Do you offer services in Spanish?

Yes, fully. Every service on this page is available in English and Spanish.

I received a notice from the IRS. Can you help?

Yes. As an Enrolled Agent, Deborah is federally authorized to represent clients directly before the IRS. Bring the notice in and do not respond to it before you do.

Do you take clients mid-year, or only at tax time?

Year round. Bookkeeping, payroll, and new business formation are not seasonal, and neither are we.
