RCG Accounting & Associates is a family-owned accounting and tax firm in Pembroke Pines, Florida. We handle bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and income tax filing for individuals, families, and businesses. We also help people form new corporations and LLCs in the United States, including clients who live outside it.

We are not a large office, and that is on purpose. When you call, you speak to someone who knows your file.

How the firm began

Deborah founded RCG in 2001.

Before

She had spent years in the profession and noticed something that needed improvement: plenty of people in her community were working hard, building businesses, raising families, and getting accounting help that treated them as a number. The need to do business in their own language mattered just as well as proving that a small client serves as much care as a large one.
2001 Founded

Deborah started RCG to work differently. She wanted to provide full accounting and tax service, in English and Spanish, with the kind of attention that usually gets reserved for larger accounts. People needed someone to explain what they were signing, help them maximize their tax benefits, and prepare for the future.
2001 Twenty-five years on

Twenty-five years later, that is still the business model. The firm has grown, but the objectives remain the same.

RCG treats every client, big or small, as family. That is what makes this firm different from the norm.

The person behind the firm

Deborah Gonzalez, EA

Debbie is an IRS Enrolled Agent, a federal designation issued by the Internal Revenue Service that recognizes her as a tax expert and authorizes her to represent clients directly before the IRS. It is the highest credential the IRS awards, and unlike a state license it is recognized in every state.

She works across the full range of tax and accounting: bookkeeping, sales taxes, payroll, personal and corporate returns, and the formation of new corporations and LLCs. She is also a commissioned Notary Public in the State of Florida.

Many of the firm’s clients have been here since the beginning: founders who arrived twenty-five years ago and never left. Growth comes almost entirely by referral. Clients feel they are part of the RCG family from the day they arrive, and they tend to stay for many years.

How we work

Four things that have not changed.

By referral

Almost everyone who comes to RCG was sent by someone we already work with. We have kept it that way deliberately. It means we know who we are working with, and it means no client is ever one of a hundred files.

Selective, on purpose

We are careful about who we take on. Tax and accounting fraud has become common enough that care is no longer optional. Being selective protects our clients as much as it protects us.

Kept in this office

The work is done in-house by Deborah and her team. Your file is not handed down a chain or sent outside the firm, and the person you speak to knows what is in it.

Fully bilingual

We work in English and Spanish. Fully. Not a translated form, but real conversations about your money in the language you think in.

Clients here and abroad

Local roots, national practice.

We represent clients locally and nationally. Most have been with the firm for well over a decade, some for two. Many are here in Pembroke Pines and across Broward County, and many more are elsewhere in the United States.

We also work with clients outside the United States: people forming a U.S. corporation or LLC, or carrying U.S. filing obligations from abroad. It is work that rewards precision and a firm that answers when you call, and we have been doing it for years.
